7TH GRADE CIVIL SERVANT

A little like Iris with added twist of Romantic comedy from Choi Kang Hee and Joo Won, this drama made me fall for its fast paced plot and thrilling story line but all the reasons I loved THIS ended at episode 15 onwards, when the writer was like trying to rape the story that most scenes doesn’t even make sense anymore. I seriously, don’t expect a rom-com to reach episode 20, but since it’s a high rater drama in Korea, I assumed they will make the story better. Anyway, story wise, this is seriously addicting at first but the ending is quite good and predictable. This drama’s OST is so damn perfect! Starting from 2PM’s support to Chansung (Han Gil Ro) to English soundtracks and a whole lot more.

When it comes to the casts, Joo Won’s acting as Han Pil Hoon and Han Gil Ro was really commendable, I was really surprised to see the Joo Won that I’ve always read on allkpop was that a good actor. He is the number 1 factor why this drama is a hit. The other factor is Chansung who played Go Dong Ha who is a little tricky. One would actually think and doubt if he is an antagonist or a protagonist. Choi Kang Hee (Kyung Ja/Seo Won) aside from having a really annoying role from episode 1 til 20, she makes me change the typical stereotype to Korean leading ladies because she is not that beautiful compared to others yet she portrayed her role really well.

7th Grade Civil Servant is just another feel good drama with twists that make a viewer appreciate family, friends, seniors and life’s chances. This may not be 2013’s best but it is really worth watching.
