The Imperfections Of An Unrequited Love

(c) Poetry, Day Five: Imperfect

You were like a ray sunshine, and everything about you blinded me. I couldn’t surmise how the happiness I once felt turned into memory.

Then I was liberated from your gravity that I thought was heaven. Since that day, everything has changed – there was no butterfly nor sunshine

And all I got was pain and its scar that could’ve haunted me but instead taught me lessons about the imperfections of an unrequited love.
