It is not about me having expectations on you,
because I could stand using my feet and sway with the wind, or swim into water or even get burned with flames.
It is about me wanting to be loved,
so show me, let me feel it. I don’t want the air and the voice coming from your mouth. Not even your skin on my skin, or even a hand to hold.
I want you and your concern,
stand up for me. Be a man enough to give, a man enough to ask.
It’s because I practice equality, yet I am also a lady,
a woman wanting to be loved, wanting to be flattered, wanting to be proud, wanting to want. A woman who wants more.
Then again, I can stand on my own. I can, I always can.
