GUILTY PLEASURE

Last week was my pay day so I splurged some of my hard-earned money a bit. Currently, I have  35 lipsticks, which only 2-3 of it are my most used ones. I know for some thirty-five lipsticks aren’t that many compared to those people who posted their cosmetics on Youtube but apparently for me 35 is a two digit number that means more than one & more than what I need.

Anyway, I don’t know when did I start collecting lipsticks, maybe it was influenced to me by my best friend? So, yeah. I could be impulsive at times to satisfy myself… and the blame goes to her. HAHA.

One of my favourite among my lipsticks is MAC’s Twig. Surprise surprise, this is also Nadine Lustre’s favourite. (Click the link to watch)

I did not like Twig because it is Nadine’s favourite, it just happened that Twig is really a nice shade because of its neutral pink with a brown undertone that is great for everyday wear, especially for someone like me who prefers the natural/simple look.

Since trying twig, I’ve been searching for a matte shade that is a bit close to its undertone which lead me to Kat Von D’s Lolita.

Although Lolita is a bit darker than Twig, it still gave me a natural look like Twig does.

In my search for a matte Twig dupe. I also came across Colourpop, my best friend’s favourite lipstick brand. (Read: Back To Cool)

It is only $6USD so I just have to pay its shipping to Canada and CAD rate, which is not that expensive despite my country’s decreasing dollar value.

Anyway browsing through Colourpop’s site, I also bought some Kylie lip kit’s dupe.

All in all, it was a good splurge. I feel bad to be a girl spending money all the time but at the end of the day, it was all worth the bucks. Worrying where to keep my lipsticks is a good problem anyway. 🙂
