Skincare routine these days has become a lengthy multi-step process, which may appear as weird, OA and exhaustive to others. This all started when Charlotte Cho of SOKOGLAM published The Little Book of Skin Care! I believe the book mentioned about the 10 KOREAN SKIN CARE ROUTINE for a “healthy, glowing skin,” which has become a trend not only in Korea but throughout the world.

While I was aware of the existence of the said skin care routine, I never really bother checking on it until I started breaking out due to … stress and lack of sleep! Fortunately, my best friend was sweet enough to share her short version of the Korean skin care, which made me purchase tons of skin care products worth $180 CAD!
If that’s not expensive for you, well it is for me, for the reason that I could use that amount of money to purchase a textbook. However girls will always be girls, and that includes our desire to look good.
The Korean skincare regimen includes: cleansing, exfoliating, treating, intensely moisturizing and applying plenty of SPF during the day.
My regimen includes: Cleansing, treating, & intense moisturizer. (I apply a foundation with SPF during the day. Why bother purchasing a separate SPF when you can have both, eh?)

I just have to apologize for the poor sound quality, as my microphone wasn’t working well + the camera was shaky too.
For those who have acne problems like me, I think Tea Tree and Hemp products make an excellent combination in treating and preventing pimples. I may not have the best skin, but here are my few tips if you’re also suffering from acne & blemishes.
Acne care routine:
1. Cleanse with Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash
2. Tone with Tea Tree Skin Mattifying Toner
3. Apply Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution
4. Moisturize with the Hemp Face Protectant.
5. During the day, instead of the Hemp Face Protectant, use a moisturizer that has SPF.
Acne tips:
– Clean your face before and after sleeping!
– Have a good night’s sleep
– De-stress and relax
– Eat Healthily! Avoid oily and sugary foods
– Hydrate yourself! It hydrates your skin too.
Always remember no matter what products you buy, always do research and make sure that all skin care products work together and applicable to your skin type. 🙂
Dairy is a major skin killer too :(( I agree with the tea tree! It was my lifesaver

Yep! At least, for me. Before a big event, I always make sure to cut out milk and cheese. But Almond milk is fine!
